To Dad

I'm taking this chance, a little late, to thank my "Pops" for all that he has done for our family! He has been a constant source of strength, a spiritual leader, example of a good husband and father, and a source of unconditional love for each of us. He is a man of quiet humility who ALWAYS does whatever it takes to make the special events in our life special. It didn't matter what was happening in business, and he is very successful, the people who answered the phones always knew that if it was one of us he would take the call! That may not seem like a big deal, but even if it were important meetings or phone calls, he would stop. It was those "little" decisions that made all three of his kids know that we definitely were one of his top priorities! I have watched him spend countless hours on the internet to plan vacations...and he wanted to make them super special! He never has to be out in the front getting attention or calling attention to himself. He just always makes a point to be loving towards each of us! Now, as Dean and I are starting our family... I realize again and again how blessed we really are! Thank you for all of your hours and hours of prayer and self-sacrifice. It really counted in making a difference in our lives! We love you!
Since pictures are worth a thousand words, I've included a couple of "action" photos of "Sir."

Growing and growing...

Pregnancy has been such a fun and exciting time for Dean and me. We can't wait for Aiden to get here, and to see what he looks like and watch him grow. But, for now, I'm relishing the quiet moments laying in bed and watching "Daddy" interact with Aiden. What a sweet blessing! It has been such a joy to feel and watch this little one grow and change. The best parts are the kicks and movements! He is now responding to our voices and that has been a lot of fun! Here are a couple of the latest pregnancy pics for those of you who have been wanting to see! :) We are now at 27 weeks.

Wii....

We are now the proud owners of a Wii game system. It has been such fun entertainment to do together. We purchased several of the "old school" Mario games. Those have been really funny to relive so many childhood memories. Somethings never change...we both still yell at the TV! A common phrase as we dive into a hole or water is...."I was pushing B." Such fun! The latest game addition is the Wii Fit. Dean is pretty good at this...and had an impressive Wii age. I, however, did not! After I did the balancing test, the Wii Fit informed me that balance was not my forte. It even asked me if "I found myself tripping on my feet." Too bad it doesn't know that I'm working 7 months pregnant! So...I'm sure that we will have many Wii adventures in the future!
